Happy Thanksgiving to all cardies. There are so many charities to choose from that help wildlife & protect humans. To name a few: Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, Pelican Harbor, UCLA, SPLC
For Christmas, years ago, my lifelong friend, Madeline, & I stopped giving each other gifts. Instead, I make a donation in her honor to St. Jude, and she makes one in my honor to Monmouth County SPCA
Another charity that is a favorite of mine because it is a win/win for animals & humans is Dogs for Better Lives. They adopt dogs from shelters and then train them for deaf or hard-of-hearing adults, children with autism, and people with disabilities. We can all enjoy our Thanksgiving, Christmas or Hanukkah knowing our kindness & generosity made a difference. Good will to all.
